The Socket Shoulder Screw has an enlarged, unthreaded cylindrical shoulder under the head. They are commonly used for rotating or sliding applications.
Socket Shoulder Screws are manufactured to precise tolerances and are used where the shank of the bolt will act as a shaft or dowel for rotating items such as bushings or bearings, axles for rolling parts, pivot points or mounting pins.
